Computer Education

Khamboli village girls got an opportunity to equip themselves with new generation technology and computer education. The twice a week classes held for the girls introduced them to history of computers through a video presentation, hardware components through notes and MS office. The syllabus for the year is ready and so are the village girls and their parents to empower them with this new knowledge and help them handle computers efficiently.

Seema Kamble and Rafik, our Rural development team members have started conducting these classes from 18th September, 2018 onwards devoting 4 hours a week.

For the love of sports…..

‘All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy’ goes the old saying. We decided to brighten up the daily routine of our rural school going kids with some games and fun. We have introduced Outdoor and Indoor games sessions for 4 rural schools with a games teacher. We have started with  indoor games such as Chess,  Ludo, Snakes and Ladder,  Carrom, etc. in the monsoons. Enroute this fun filled journey is kinesthic development that will help children in the long run.

We have appointed a Sports sir, Subhashji who trains children in sports. We have also provided various sports equipment’s.

International Yoga day celebrations

Creating awareness about the importance of Yoga on 20th, 21st and 22nd June, 2018. 

70 residents of Katarkhadak village, 200 villagers from Khamboli village,  20 students and teachers of Jawal  village whereas 100 students and teachers of Rishi Gurukulam availed of this opportunity to learn basic asanas and understand the importance of Yoga Day.

 

We were fortunate to help the entrepreneurs who attended the scope camp during the same period by sharing the knowledge of basic asanas with them too.

The activity was backed by INO, International Naturopathy Organisation. Renuka, the Secretary of INO, headed this activity. She was accompanied by our Rural Development team 

School toilet in Khamboli village

Hygienic water and sanitation facilities are of prime importance in schools. Every child has the right to have access to safe, clean drinking water and hygienic washrooms. In view of this need, we decided to make things easier for the school girls of Khamboli village school by repairing their ladies toilet block. A humble gesture to assure we care…..

Offering of RSVK

We arranged the monetary support from mediators for this cause, and offered the requisite help to the village school. Thus ensuring that the children have a better place, a better world.

SSY Khamboli

SSY program in schools is one of the wonderful activities we do for child development. The energy created by the SSY is channelized to raise their consciousness, take leadership, take responsibility not only of self, village, or nation, but of the entire world. To maintain this energy further we conduct advance SSY sessions on weekly basis.

Taking up the responsibility of nurturing the students through SSY program and value based education. Keeping them energized by weekly follow up with advanced sessions of SSY sessions.
